The principal theme for ART '96 is the emergence of seismic applications, particularly time-lapse (4-D) seismic, which looks set to become the dominant reservoir technology in the 21st century. Whilst majoring on state-of-the-art applied geophysics, the conference also introduces a number of related reservoir management to now in the research phase. The conference will end with a view from eminent reservoir engineering guru, Laurie Dake, on the future for reservoir engineers in today's dynamic technology marketplace.
Highlights of the conference are:-
- The latest in 4D seismic development
- Downhole seismic tools
- The Foinaven Active Reservoir Monitoring (FARM) project
- Integration of data across geology, sedimentology and seismic disciplines
- Visualisation of seismic and reservoir data
- Future operator requirements in reservoir information
Who should attend ?
