This event, organised by the Petroleum
Science and Technology Institute (PSTI)
in collaboration with Rolls-Royce plc,
aims to provide examples of:
Rolls Royce plc Aerospace group
will discuss how this
is currently being achieved, highlighting the mechanisms employed.
Rolls Wood Group,
a SME to Rolls Royce, will provide the SME perspective discussing
how Rolls-Royce plc has supported the joint venture. It will
also provide an insight into how technology transfer from aero-derivative
engines to oilfield equipment has been achieved. The processes
involved will be discussed in detail.
In addition, Schlumberger will discuss
its oil and gas related initiatives which are taking advantage
of technology transfer. The sourcing of quality innovation with
SMEs will also be discussed.
