- Our aim is to supply a competitive but personal service by supplying experienced, well motivated and trained personnel as required by our customers.
- It is European Logging Services Ltd policy to cross train where ever it may be applicable.
- Our Wireline crews are not only trained in the latest Wireline techniques and equipment but also in electric line logging and data acquisition techniques.
- With the start up of Coiled Tubing services in April 1993 initially for the Norwegian market it is also our intention to cross train our personnel in this field
- These principles are backed up by our training facilities where we have a 330 metre deep training well with pumping facilities enabling simulation of most production well conditions.
- In addition to our training well we have a drilling BOP simulator, and recently a coiled tubing simulator has been installed for further training and cross training of personnel.
- The latest generation of Wireline units from MWS are containerised and capable
of all operations from slickline up to 1/2" logging cable. this gives the unit the
flexibility required to perform slickline, fishing and logging operations.
We are constantly on the lookout for possible improvements in efficiency. One of
successes in this area was the introduction in Norway of the double drum Wireline unit with logging cable. this makes it possible for one crew to perform slickline operations and with the addition of a logging engineer, they can convert
to logging operations with minimum disruption. this enables reduced manning levels leading to a more efficient operation.
